After the successful revival of 1990′s Beverly Hills, 90210 primetime soap into 2008′s 90210, The CW tried it again with a 2009 revival of 1992′s spin-off series Melrose Place. It didn’t take off as well, however, and was canceled after a single season of 18 episodes. Still, the studio didn’t want to leave franchise fans hanging without a DVD release of those episodes, so as of yesterday, October 26th, Amazon’s CreateSpace manufacture-on-demand (MOD) program began exclusively selling Melrose Place – The DVD Edition. As the studio-provided description quoted above says, this is a 6-disc set (740 minutes) with the entire run of the show, plus bonus Cast Interviews. Season 1: “Sepulveda”

LAUREN BEGS DAVID FOR FORGIVENSS, ELLA SCHEMES TO SAVE HER JOB AND DREW AND JONAH FIGHT OVER RILEY— David’s (Shaun Sipos) new role as a restaurant owner is put to the test after he loses some of his wait staff on the day an important food critic has come to review Coal. In an effort to get David to forgive her, Lauren (Stephanie Jacobsen) pitches in as a waitress and hostess and helps him out of his jam. Ella (Katie Cassidy) wants to hack into the WPK files to erase the fake evidence against her for embezzlement, but Jonah (Michael Rady) strongly disagrees with her tactics, so she looks to David for help. With Drew’s (Nick Zano) help, Riley (Jessica Lucas) throws a fundraiser for her education foundation but when Drew tries to increase the donations by auctioning off a date with Riley, things go awry after Drew and Jonah get into a bidding war. Thomas Calabro and Heather Locklear also star. Shaun Sipos also stars.

The CW has released a lot of promo photos and a short synopsis for the new March 9 episode, which you can view below. It looks like Ashlee Simpson-Wentz will be making her last appearance in this episode.

Violet (Ashlee Simpson-Wentz) asks Auggie (Colin Egglesfield) to leave town with her. Amanda (Heather Locklear) puts Ella (Katie Cassidy) in charge of a lavish party at her house to celebrate the arrival of her billionaire boyfriend Ben (guest star Billy Campbell).

However, after Amanda spies Ella and Ben together in a compromising position, she lashes out. Meanwhile, Riley (Jessica Lucas) asks Jonah (Michael Rady) if they can start over. Shaun Sipos and Stephanie Jacobsen also star.
